Headies 2018 Davido, Wizkid, Simi lead nominees list. The 12th edition of the Headies nominees list is out with Davido, Simi, Wizkid and Olamide dominating with multiple nominations. The nominees list for the 12th edition of the Headies is out. In a press statement released by the organizers of the Headies, Smooth Promotions, on Friday, April 13, 2018 "the awards academy released the list after short listing thousands of entries submitted in the year under review (from July 2016 - December 2017)." In the 12th edition of the Headies, there are over 25 categories and 77 nominees. Nigerian pop superstar Davido leads with six nominations. ABUJA— SENATORS could not hide their anger, yesterday, following the massive killings and wanton destruction of property in some parts of the country. They again questioned the commitment of the executive arm of government to the protection of lives of Nigerians and accused President Muhammadu Buhari of appointing wrong people into his cabinet. Meanwhile, the Senate has resolved to suspend plenary next Wednesday and Thursday to enable it hold a summit on the security situation in some parts of the country, just as it has also called for a high powered delegation, in conjunction with the state government, to resolve the conflict for harmonious existence.
